Thinking Skills

AS Thinking Skills is being introduced to the growing curriculum at ICS from September 2011.  The CIE course was developed in response to requests from universities and employers for students and employees who had a more sophisticated way of thinking. All Year 12 students taking AS courses will be expected to complete this very useful course.

AS Thinking Skills will benefit all students no matter what their other AS level subjects are. Thinking Skills develops a specific set of intellectual skills, independent of subject content. The CIE syllabus should enable students to analyse and resolve problems, allowing them to approach their other subjects with an improved ability to understand.
