Psychology

As part of the continuing development of the curriculum at ICS we will be introducing AS Psychology from September 2011. This course tends to be incredibly popular with students and suits students studying both arts and scientific courses.

Students will be following the Edexcel AS Psychology course.  They will learn to appreciate the scientific nature of psychology, engage in contemporary debates and develop an understanding of psychological research, as well as understanding the many different aspects of the subject and how they relate to each other.

Although this course is assessed through examination students will be expected to conduct practical assessments in all modules to allow them to understand the practical applications of the subject.
