ICS Safety and Security

Safety and Security are taken seriously at ICS. A dedicated team of guards provides a 24-hour control at all access points to the school and throughout the school campus.
 
ID Required
In order to protect school property and for the safety of all students, staff and visitors to the school, the guards are instructed to request identification from all visitors entering the campus. On presentation of an identity document each visitor is issued with a Visitor Pass that must be worn while in school and exchanged for the identity document upon leaving the school. All visitors’ times are registered in and out. Cameras are in use on our campus as well.
 
Traffic Control
The guards are also responsible for the control and direction of all vehicles entering the school campus. Parents, their drivers and other visitors, are asked to cooperate with them to ensure a smooth and safe flow of traffic at all times. Only approved vehicles of staff and some of our special needs students are allowed to enter the campus.
 
Emergency Procedures
The school has procedures for Fire and Emergency Evacuation. Drills are performed on a regular basis.
 
Smoke-Free Campus
The International Community School is a smoke-free campus.
