Emergency Communication

Outlined below is the communication process in the event of a need to close the school at short notice.
 
If the weather or a similar condition leads to considering ICS closure:

• Consultation with the Chairman of the Board of Directors.
• A decision to close will be announced, if possible, by 6:30 am.
• An SMS message will be sent to all school staff and parents of ICS students.
• If conditions change a second message will be sent before 10:00 am.
• We will post the cancellation on the ICS website.

 
The school will be closed for that day only unless otherwise stated.
 
Given the diverse weather conditions in various parts of Amman, if the school remains open but you do not feel it is safe to have your children on the road, you make the decision to send them or not.
